General Rules
- Have fun! Be kind and be respectful of your peers and the staff.
- One account per person.
- Don’t fight OOC. If you have a problem with another member, please don’t handle it yourself. Talk to a Moderator or an Admin!
- Do NOT steal other people’s work and call it your own. Ask before using someone else’s manips, drawings, writing, etc, etc.
- No pornographic images, no one, I mean no one, wants to see it.
- Keep cursing to a minimum, and if you do cuss, “***” out the vowels.
Posting/Characters
- Don’t be offended if my character hates yours, it reflects nothing of my own thoughts. Remember it’s just a game.
- You can have as many characters as you can keep active, if the staff feels too many of said characters are going inactive we will ask you to slow down on the character making or give a few for others to adopt.
- After you have 10 characters please make only one more a week.
- Please keep posts realistic, your horse is not god.
- No mythical creatures, that’s right, no Unicorns or Pegasus’s. No powers.
- Please no mules, donkey’s, zorses, etc. Ponies and draught horses are okay.
- Absolutely no god-modding or power-playing.
- Keep your posts as grammar and spelling mistake free as you can.
- 150 word count minimum; code tags, of any kind, do NOT count.
Lands
- Only Stallions can claim land, but they must have at least one active mare with them.
- If a land goes un-active for longer than two weeks the land is claimable again. The only exeption is if you are leaving or having computer issues and have let a staff member know you are leaving/having computer issues.
- You can have up to three sub-herds within a land.
- In real life horses fight over land and so shall we. If you can’t find some free land, why not try to steal some? Whoever wins gets the land and either the losing stallions herd stays with him or leaves him for the winner.
Fighting IC
- Fighting in character is encouraged. Horses fight all the time in real life over mares, foals and land.
- Your character is not a god. He/she will not hit the other with every attack, and will definitely not dodge every attack. The ONLY exception is when the fighting stallions/mares agreed beforehand who was going to win.
- Mares can fight for rank, like queen.
- Stallions, if not kicked out of the herd, can also fight for rank.
Breeding/Birthing
- Mares can become pregnant as early as 1. The earlier they have a foal the more likely it is that there will be a complication, the older they are there will be a higher chance of a healthy foal. (unless of course they are getting too old)
- Birth complications include the following: Birth Defect (Blindness, Deafness, Mute, Bad leg, etc, etc.) Miscarriage, the breeding didn’t take, Born weak, sick or as a runt. (The defects are usually only temporary, it depends on the dice rolled, the coin flipped.)
- Breeding and Birthing can happen at any time, but, the season affects the pregnancy. A foal born in the winter won’t do as well as a foal born in the spring.
- Your mare will be pregnant for five days, you can extend this time if you’d like.
The Seasons
- Spring (Late March to Late May-Early June) 3 weeks RT
- Summer (Mid June to End of August) 4 weeks RT
- Fall (September to Mid December) 3 weeks RT
- Winter (Mid December to Mid/Late March) 3 weeks RT
- RT= Real Time
- These are just estimates of about how long each season is, it's basically a rounded figure.
